As Indian footwear manufacturers increasingly seek precision engineering to upgrade product quality and compete globally, Delhi-based Sai Moulds and Dies is leveraging advanced tooling technologies to expand its domestic and international footprint. Speaking on the sidelines of the India International Footwear Fair (IIFF) 2026, proprietor Ayan Mandal shared that the company received a highly encouraging response at the event, which aligned perfectly with their strategic commercial expectations.
With over three decades of operational experience in the tooling industry, Sai Moulds and Dies specialises in producing robust moulds and dies for the footwear sector. Mandal noted that the company was among the pioneers in India to integrate advanced 3D printing technology into their core manufacturing processes. He firmly emphasised that while their tooling products are priced at a slight premium compared to standard market competitors, the investment is entirely justified by the superior, refined finishing their moulds consistently provide to the final footwear.
The manufacturer currently supplies its tooling solutions such as moulds to factories across India and actively exports to a diverse range of international markets, including Kenya, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, and Dubai. Building on the strong commercial momentum generated from a highly successful participation at the leather trade fair in Chennai last year, Mandal stated that expanding and comprehensively consolidating their market share in South India remains a primary business objective for the near future.
Looking ahead to further bolster their established export channels across the border, Mandal revealed that Sai Moulds and Dies is currently preparing to showcase its engineering capabilities at an upcoming industry exhibition in Nepal, continuing their steady trajectory of quality-driven growth.
